Welcome to CR Quarter Horses Welcome to CR Quarter Horses where one of our main goals at present is to introduce the Grullo Quarter Horse into the South Western Ontario region. One of the most dominant traits of a "Grullo" is the "ancient" coloring. They are either dark grullo (shiney grey) in color or a silver grullo (shiney light grey) in color. They possess "black points" along with black shoulder shadowing....black zebra striping.... They are absolutely stunning in their appearance! Along with impeccable breeding, and our "Foundation Bred" Reg. Grullo Quarter Horse Stallion ... we are off to a fabulous start! We practice very selective breeding and only choose well bred stallions with excellent confirmation, temperament, disposition and last but not least color. Our foals are well handled from day one, and we pride ourselves on our herd of "people pleasers". We give them a great start, making future training a pleasure. We have chose to breed and raise the Registered American Quarter Horse because we have found over the years that they are so very versatile as to the different disciplines. From Halter, Pleasure, Trail, Barrel Racing, Poles, Reining, English, Hunter/Jumper, Team Penning, Cutting, you name it - they can do it all! We can't forget our Registered Red Bone Hound Dog, who is a proven Stud Dog. His breeding is very impressive. We can accommodate overnight visits for the long distance travelers.
